Criteria:

-The final product must have pleats and a zipper as well as a button
-Create a prototype for trial and error
-Learn how to use a sewing machine
-The product must be created to fit my size
-Develop an aesthetic that is shown through my skirt

I started creating my product by making an initial pattern for my skirt out of paper created to my measurements which I then used to cut the fabric out in the perfect size. Through my prototype I was able to see that the waist was too small and the length was too long therefore I edited the pattern.
